We will be holding a Vote Chess match against the Southwest Chess Club this Thursday, August 13 at 7:30 PM!
What is a Vote Chess match?
All Waukesha Chess Club players participating will (jointly) choose our moves. There will be just one game. While it’s the SWCC’s turn to move we can discuss strategy and possible moves they will make. While it’s our turn to move we will discus our various options and then vote on what move we should play.
The Vote Chess match is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM. However, the Zoom meeting will start at 7:00 PM so that those unfamiliar with how to use Zoom will have a chance to try out the various features. (e.g., How to send/view Chat messages; How to “raise” your hand; How to mute/unmute yourself; etc)
No video is required or will be used. Your computer or tablet should have a microphone and speakers. The first vote chess match we had in early July was a lot of fun and produced a hard fought draw.
Please consider taking part on Thursday!
